Happy Birthday to PT4EB!

PT Everybody Anniversary

Physical Therapy for everyBODY is 6 years old! I am so grateful!

When we decided to open PT4EB, we felt that people needed another option to the current Physical Therapy choices available in Maple Valley. We believed that there was a tribe of people that was not being served in the way they needed to be served.

We believed that Physical Therapy involved helping your body to move correctly so that you could live the life you were born for. We understood that every BODY is able to heal itself. Some bodies just need help getting over the barriers that life puts in our way.

And, you all showed up. You saw our different approach. You listened to our vision for you. You felt the difference that a hands on approach offered to your body. And, you responded by continuing to show up.

In the beginning, many people said that our model could not work. It would not work.

But, you showed up. And, I am so grateful.

I truly have the best job in the world because I get to hear your success stories. I get to hear about how you were able to get back to running for the first time in years. And to celebrate a 90 mile bike ride. How you learned to play pickle ball without crippling knee pain the next day. How you went to the trampoline park with your kids and didn’t pee yourself.

Thank you for sharing your time with me. Thank you for sharing your stories with me. You uplift me as I see your success. And, I am so grateful.

PT4EB has grown into the place that I always dreamed it would be. This would not have been possible without you showing up. You believing that your body can actually move better. You holding a desire to get off the couch and away from your desk and actually be able to move.

As we celebrate 6 years of learning, growing, falling down, getting back up, and exploring new ground, we feel much like children.

We have now mastered our current ability to serve you and are looking to explore new ground, new opportunities to serve you and your body better. We are looking to grow by inviting new people into our space who have different skills and knowledge to offer you on your healing journey.

We are looking to bring in new classes, services, and products that will serve your body and help you to move even better. As we grow and learn we are constantly looking for new ways that we can serve you better.

Knowledge Improves Everything and we are looking to expand what we know to improve how we serve you and your body. So that you are able to move optimally and participate fully in your life.

We are so grateful that you are a part of our healthy tribe of people that are looking to improve how your body performs. A tribe dedicated to showing up in the world as the best versions of themselves. And, we know that none of this would have been possible without you.

So, from all that we are, we thank you for growing with us. We thank you for trusting us with your body, your fears, you dreams, and your dedication.

Struggling with pain and dysfunction can impact every part of our lives — it drains our energy, distracts us from our goals, and keeps us from the people and activities we love. As an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist, Dr. Amy Konvalin understands how frustrating those limitations can be — and she knows how to help get you back to the life you want to live! Beginning with a focused evaluation, Dr. Amy works to determine the root causes of your pain, as well as understanding how it affects the way you move through your world. Dysfunctional patterns of movement often grow worse with time and cause further damage if left untreated — so it’s important to address these issues as soon as possible. Dr. Amy knows there is no one-size-fits-all plan for success, and she partners with patients to identify their unique treatment goals and personal values. Using these goals as a guide, Amy uses her doctorate training in manual (hands-on) therapy and exercise prescription to treat patients with a wide variety of medical challenges and histories throughout the Maple Valley, Black Diamond and Covington areas. Dr. Amy is also a wife to a Boeing superstar/former C-130 navigator. While they lived in Germany, Dr. Amy was able to volunteer with the US Army to treat military personnel and civilians on base. She has two beautiful teenage ballerinas who keep her on her toes and educate her on all things ballet! Bailey, the princess pup, is her running partner and her napping partner. In the spare moments in between, Amy enjoys reading, yoga, wine with friends, Pilates, and walking on the beach.
